Inishowen, the beautiful peninsula in north Donegal is where navigatour™ first started out and it is here that you’ll find the two GPS tours, Inis Eoghain ‘100’ Locatour and Inis Eoghain ‘100’ Racontour. We’ve stuck with the Irish name of Inishowen, being Inis Eoghain, for each tour as that is what you’ll see on all of the brown signs when up here. It simply means the ‘isle of Owen’, ‘100’ being the distance of this scenic coastal route.

Click here for the upgraded audio tour, Inis Eoghain ‘100’ Racontour. It is a much bigger division requiring greater memory as it provides an audio accompaniment as you drive along. You’ll need an MP3 enabled device to fully enjoy this service. Recommended for those that are visiting the area on a once off basis. If you live in the area, you may not wish to hear a certain tale every time you go past an area that triggers the audio on your sat nav - but maybe you do!
